GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK – AIR TOUR OPERATORS
February 5, 2014 - “I’m pleased that Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has increased the flight allocations over the Grand Canyon National Park’s carefully managed airspace, making more air tours available to Park visitors who choose tour companies that use quiet technology aircraft,” said Senator McCain. “Air tours, and the unique sightseeing experience they provide, are an important part of the northern Arizona economy. While this is an important first step, I will continue to work with the National Park Service (NPS) and the FAA to further promote the use of quiet technology aircraft at the Grand Canyon.”
