The new Greenway Trail, located between The Abyss and Hermit Rest, provides a bicycle path away from the main road. Enjoy a relaxing bike ride with family and friends, or go explore the trail’s beauty on your own!

New Winter Schedule for Hermit’s Rest

Previously private to the public, you are now able to drive your vehicle along Hermit’s Rest! This is applicable for the winter season, until February 29th, 2012. Stop at the various view points along Hermit’s Rest and enjoy spectacular views from the comfort of your own car.

Mather Point

There is new parking available inside the park at the visitor’s center at Mather Point.  Mather Point is the number one viewpoint for tourists, as it is closest to the entrance station and a short walk from the newly opened visitor center, Canyon View Plaza.
