Tusayan - Arizona’s Green Community

ida logoTusayan is proud to be an Arizona Dark Sky Community as well as an Arizona Green Community. Tusayan has been a leader in environmental concerns for decades. Tusayan has one of the most stringent water conservation policies in America. The community had the foresight in the 1980’s to develop a wastewater treatment facility to produce reclaimed water for landscape irrigation and for use in toilets in every hotel and restaurant in the community. It is part of their commitment to make the visitor experience to the South Rim positive in every way.
