Tusayan is the gateway community to the South Rim, open year round and located just a mile from the South Rim entrance. Some hotels have swimming pools and fitness rooms, and restaurants. You can walk to the IMAX and area restaurants. Park passes can be purchased at a number of hotels in Tusayan and the free Park shuttle to the Visitor Center and canyon rim viewpoints picks up and returns to hotels in Tusayan spring to fall.
